Today’s show is on Mentoring

Our guests today, Jane Schrum and Brenda Poinsett will share their hearts with you. You don’t want to miss this.

Jane Schrum has been married to her husband Pic for 35 years and has 4 precious children.  She enjoys homemaking, gardening and reading.  Her most outstanding identity comes from being a child of God.  She finds joy through her involvement with Community Bible Church’s MOMS ministry (Mothers Of Many Season).

Brenda Poinsett is an educator, writer, ministry consultant and homemaker.  She has always enjoyed teaching, from her dolls in the backyard to younger children at church, Sunday School, Bible studies, high school and college and now retreats and conferences.  She is the author of fifteen books. Some of her titles are Can Martha Have a Mary Christmas?, Wonder Women of the Bible, and Celebrations That Touch the Heart.  Brenda has encouraged women individually and worked with them in small groups. She is currently the Women’s Ministry Consultant for Missouri Baptist women and has served on their Women’s Missionary Union board and their Women’s Ministry Leadership Team since 2002. As a wife and mother in a predominantly male household she appreciates and recognizes the need women have for friendships. This has resulted in her latest book The Friendship Factor: Why Women Need Other Women (New Hope Publishers).

Are you currently in a mentoring relationship either as a Mentor or a Mentee?  Are you looking for a mentor?  Do you desire to “train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God” as God instructs us to do in the book of Titus?

Join our conversation; call in today between 2&3pm EST 866-34TRUTH or leave a comment here on the blog.  We look forward to hearing from you. Come on, take some time out today to be encouraged.

“May Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who loved us and by His grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.” 2 Thessalonians 2:16,17
