Be My Baby

Luann and Ramona are joined by their good friend Molly. They talk about how Molly and her husband tried and tried to have a child of their own, but after doctors visits, tests, and a lot of prayer there was still no little baby to hold. We hope you will be encouraged by Molly’s story and be excited to hear about new doors God is opening in her life!

One Response to “Be My Baby”

  1. Pamela Says:

I am traveling right now listening to this podcast and have had to pull over to leave a comment. My husband and I have been married for 16 years and have dealt with infertility, however the doctors could not explain the reason for our struggles. Five years ago we decided to go the route of adopting through the foster system. We recognize that this is a scary proposition for many people, but God has laid it on our hearts to help the children of our community that have no parents to love and care for them. Several of our friends have adopted infants through foster care, but we feel burdened for the children many consider unadoptable. Our first child was almost 5 when God gave her to us and there is no doubt whatsoever that God created her for us and us for her. I know I was created to be her mother and the blessing in my life that she is no words can describe. Three weeks ago the adoption of our second and third children was finalized. They are a brother and sister who were 13 months and just turned 2 when they entered our lives. Again, indescribable blessings. My point in sharing this is to encourage couples who are looking at adopting to consider this route of domestic adoption. Many are frightened of these children and their past experiences, but they are just innocent children who need love. Helping them overcome past neglect or abuse is not as difficult As it seems and oh my, what a way to share the love of Christ. There are many children in our communities that need someone to love and care for them. Why can’t we, their neighbors, be that loving hand? Please, please give this some thought as you consider adopting. Pray about it and see what God can do!
