I asked Jesus to be my Lord and Savior at age 27. My husband, who was a minister in our church baptized me. Since that time I have grown to love the Lord in a richer and deeper capacity and I have never gotten over what He did for me on the cross at Calvary! I serve Him with gladness which is my way of thanking Him every day for all He has done for me.
She married her college sweetheart and they have celebrated 44 years of marriage. She is the proud mother of four amazing daughters. She is privileged to have four sons-in-love and nine beautiful grandchildren.
The Lord called her back into the workforce, when she least expected it, after many years of being a stay-at-home mom. She is now retired from a life in education that spanned 28 years.
She lives with her husband in Laurens, South Carolina. He serves as the minister of music at Second Baptist Church and she works alongside him in the music ministry. She also serves as a Sunday school teacher.
