While on a walk with my hubby, into a hallway we weren't supposed to be on in the hospital, I noticed her. Her head was buried in her hands.
I looked at Dwight and said, “Do you mind if I pray with her?”
He said, ”Go.”
Slipping my arm around her shoulder, I asked if I could pray with her. She shook her head yes. I prayed. I asked her if she had a church.
She said, ”Churches don't want me.”
I said, “God does. It is not an accident that I met you on this hall in the hospital. God said to tell you He loves you and He always has.”
She burst into tears. I held her and prayed again with her.
They have 4 kids and her husband is in a coma because he tried to commit suicide.
I know a pastor in her home town. I sent him a text. She gave me her phone number. They are connecting.
On our way back, the nursing assistant for my husband ran up to us and said, “We were about to call security because we couldn't find you!”
God moments. Priceless.
Giving thanks in this circumstance.
